In entering the competition through the form or by submitting on social media using the hashtag #ClassroomCreations you agree to the terms and conditions.
The Classroom Creations competition will run from 21st November 2022 and will close at 12pm on Friday 3rd February 2023. Any entries submitted after the 3rd February 2023 will not be accepted.
The winner of the competition will be chosen by Gareth Snook on the week commencing 6th February 2023, with the winner being announced the same week.
This competition is open to any UK based school or home schooled student aged between 7 and 18. All entries must be submitted by a relevant adult on a student’s behalf. Any entry submitted by someone who is under the age of 18 will not be counted.
There are no restrictions on the number of different entries one school class can make and each entry will be counted. Repeated entries of the same Classroom Creation will not be accepted.
The prize for this competition is tickets for a class and their teachers to see a weekday matinee performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – The Musical, at a participating venue. Tickets included in the prize are for a maximum of 35 students and three teachers. Additional tickets must be purchased separately. Participating venues include: Milton Keynes Theatre, His Majesty’s Theatre Aberdeen, Edinburgh Playhouse, Norwich Theatre Royal, Wales Millennium Centre, Marlowe Theatre Canterbury, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Manchester Palace, Sunderland Empire, Mayflower Theatre Southampton, Hull New Theatre, Bristol Hippodrome, Birmingham Hippodrome, Liverpool Empire, New Wimbledon Theatre.
Winning tickets cannot be used for Leeds Playhouse.
There is no cash alternative to this prize, and it is non-transferable. The prize for this competition does not include travel to the theatre, accommodation or sustenance.
The winning school will be notified the week commencing 6th February 2023 by email and must respond within 28 days to claim their prize. They will then be placed into contact with the relevant venues box office to book the tickets. There will only be one winning school in this competition.
The winning entrant will be announced on social media, and in entering the competition you grant the permission for your entries to be shared.
Copyright to the entries will remain with the entrant but the entrant licences Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – the Musical to use their entries in promotional activities for competition across websites and social media.
